Tokain is a village on the north coast of the Bogia District in Madang Province, Papua New Guinea.
This website is a collection of scanned notebooks documenting aspects of Traditional Knowledge created by the villagers. It is intended to grow organically – as more villagers document things, practices and stories these books will be digitised and uploaded here as an archive for future generations.
The TKRN notebooks were originally co-designed with villagers from Reite Village on the Rai Coast of Madang Province. Visit Reite’s own online library of books.
